I noticed in their symbols section, they have different variations of the same thing. Clear, gold, silver, mirror, etc.
This may sound dumb, but what are the difference in them?? What would be best to put on a custom job? I'm thinking of getting the clear, so all you see is the logo...what does everyone prefer?

The difference is just the background. The gold means there is gold behind the red and so on with the others. mirror means the back isn't just silver it's shiny enough to be a mirror.

As far as a favorite I'm not sure I can say. One thing with the clear. They don't work as well on darker figures. I put a clear Decepticon emblem on both of my Cybertron Scrapmetals, and you can see it, but it is a little difficult to see since the spot i put it(the node of the cockpit in vehicle mode) is black.

Other than that the only thing I'd suggest is maybe try getting emblems with the same color as some highlights the figure already has. I put gold backed emblems on almost all of my Classics deluxes and above, and they look pretty good to me; although I don't think I've seen anything from them actually look bad.

I've gotten Transformers that didn't have faction symbols. For Reprolabels, I look at that particular Transformers' Generation and then try to match the style that was used. Ohterwise for colors on customs I guess it depends on the color of the receiving platic and you own prefrence.

Yeah, the difference is literally just the background colour. If you're trying to make the fig look like it comes from G1, it'd probably be better to go with the silver or mirror back. Personally I've only used the white ones, as I mostly use them for customs, and it's a good catch-all colour - it works on everything.
