I just picked up this excellent figure. and some of the 'weathering' although looks cool is kinda cheesy. and the part of the body on the plane that has the pop up 'air brake' has some of the 'weathering' rubbing chipping off from when the wing tabs chipped it when turning it from jet to bot or bot to jet. is there a way of removing the weathering without harming the red/silver stripes on the wings or faction logos on them? i heard people use rubbing alcohol with q tips. i used this method for removing MOST of the 'battle damage' on the 04 issue of anniversary prime (i left the weathering in the knee joints cause i thought it looked cool ).
Yeah that same method should work Also check here: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=157958
a buffing nail file works wonders. remember real jets get pretty dirty not unlike a young ms spears we know and love.
well i dont want to loose the striping on the wings and stuff i know real planes get dirty but i just want to tone it down a tad.
