You should see the first episode of season 2. The scene with the moving apple piles?

    Yeah, THAT'S creepy.

Well the way I see it, as long as I'm not trying to file for disability because of MLP, it's all good.

    Link please.
I've heard about this story a couple of times before, but from what I could understand it was a hoax?

Never heard about it being a hoax, but I didn't put much stock in it to start, seeing as it was Fox reporting it.

I heard people making fun of it in youtube videos, but never bothered to look into it moar. I just laughed & moved on, and this topic made me think of it again.

I'm sure the OP has already been answered with great force, but I might as well toss in my two cents on this one.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is, to me, nothing more than a fun little cartoon with an enormous fanbase. I personally enjoyed a good bit of it, but it's by no means perfect, and definitely not my favorite cartoon ever. I am guilty of owning a pony, but I don't treat it as something more than I'd treat my Transformers or Revoltechs. (Well, it was a gift from someone I care about, but that's not really the point.) I'm not gonna devote myself to some unspoken pony movement, as some people are damn close to doing. I'll sit back and toss it onto a list of things I enjoy, but the whole "brony" term is out of hand, if I dare say. It's a good show, but the in-your-face attitude that some people take towards it seems to be alienating potential fans.

I totally respect your oppinion, mate :)
Liking the show certainly dosnt mean you have to be involved in our little herd, so to speak. Like the rubbish I always spit out about "Join The Herd" etc.. But that's my way of enjoying the franchise.

It's dumber than a butt that dropped out of butt school for underprivileged butts.

Sure I would watch it with my daughter if she was old enough and think "well at least this is better than Dora" but that's about the extent of it. Decent Flash animation though.

Would be interested to see if it would get the same response if it wasn't made by our almighty masters (Hasbro).

I'd be more willing to watch it if it wasn't made by Hasbro. Get the show off the God awful HUB channel. Why ya gotta be such a hater, llamatron? Does being this comfortable with our sexuality frighten you?

Well if nothing else, we can always fall back on the fact that it's both amusing & trendy, but yeah. It's definitely better than Dora the Explorer & stuff like Cat in the Hat which basically tells kids that it's alright to trespass on other people's property and converse with bees for their honey.

Also about it being a Hasbro product, that definitely helped get us there, but it's the show & fandom that's keeping us. I just wish it was aired on more channels during after school timeslots.

I love this defense, and I see it often, because I think the fact that you have to say that speaks more to your own insecurity. Just watch your little girl show (I say that with love because it has its jokes for older people as well) and be done with it, you're not "super straight guys trust me" because you can watch a show about color-coded cartoon horses without feeling dumb.

I think the show is aight. 7/10. I really don't think it's deserving of such obsession, however, and I'll leave it at that.

So just saying that you feel secure in your sexuality means you're not. Let me try that:

    I'm secure in my sexuality.

Nope. No insecurity. Still not 100% sure what my sexuality is, but I'm sure it's still there.
