Look, I can do it too! People who mindlessly bash bronies   

Would you like to try and describe what it is exactly that bothers you about bronies? Maybe we can set your mind at ease on a few things.

 

Poster possibly had a bad brony experience. They happen; remember Sam's mom?

On-topic, I watch the show with my 3 1/2 year old, and I also genuinely like it for ironic reasons. Some people think you can only pretend to like something for ironic reasons, but the irony is so much more fun if you really do.

I also watched some of the horrifying, horrifying Antarean ultrasugar in-between iterations with my not-yet-3 1/2 year old. They are fearsome. I didn't even know Pantone had that many shades of pink...

Against that background of eldritch horror, it's very very easy to appreciate FiM.  

 

I have never seen the show, nor do I want to. But I know pleanty of kid shows that I still enjoy and teach the important lessons. I guess it dosen't really matter as long as it teaches kids good things. Whatever the case, MLP can be near as bad as Little Einsteins. Ugh! That show is disgusting. They are teaching kids that animals speak like instruments and that music can make your rocket fly? How does that make sense?  

 

When I learned they were going to show MLP, I thought I couldn't believe they were bringing that old crap back. When I was a kid had to watch it in order to watch the Wizard of Oz anime which, when I was in 2nd Grade. When I learned it was a new show I said WTF. Then My sister watched it, AND she in her late 20s. However, I still didn't give a damn about it. Then one night my bro & sis watched some fan made music videos with clips of the show on You Tube.

The thing that strike me the most, of course, was the animation. It was 10 times more greater in quality than anything I had seen, obviously surpassed by the new TC show. 2nd, was the craziness of the humor in some clips, that's the sign of comedy which now days is crap on other kids shows(I know, I have a 3 year old nephew ). 3rd, the amount of fan artwork inspired by the show. Chalo, creator of Las Lindas strip comic in katbox.net, VG Cats, Jolly Jack, to mention a few, had done parodies. So I gave it a watched........

Result......

I part of the collected    Bunch of mix feelings. But all positive. I took back all the bad things I said.

Had to be a show created by Lauren Faust. Who helped work on Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends & The Powerpuff Girls. Which gives an idea of the shows success.

 

If suddenly everyone who calls themselves a "brony" had their head violently explode, I would be hard pressed to feel bad.

Shitty, perhaps - but true, regardless.

 

I get this dance with my penis tucked in between my legs so it looks like I have a vagina as I wear a jacket made out of woman I murdered Buffalo Bill vibe from Bronies.

Good for you if you like watching shows made for little girls and enjoy combing your ponies hair before you go to bed at night, but I wouldn't let any of you around kids.

I honestly though the whole Pony thing was a joke, like me and Smasher's obsession with Hasselhoff, but then I saw how serious Primal and Haloid were about it, and I backed off, HAhahahaha.

 

I would never let an adult Transformers fan come near my kids! It's a show aimed at little boys! And they like it!
