I was wondering whether there is a third party Cliffjumper head out there in the market to convert it into a proper Cliffjumper. I am not sure whether that is even enough as I've heard that the vehicle mode isn't really Cliffjumper's alt mode anyway.

Does the KO version come with the battle mask? If not, then the KO priced stock are most likely a cheap Hasbro CN batch.

 

Is there even a Red KO BB version? I have the gold one with battle mask, and it didnt come with a flight pack.

No red KO that I'm aware of. It was an Asia-excl item (w/coin... which says Red Boby, but whatever).
