I have a quick question for my enamel using Radicons brethren. I am going to be repainting my ROTF toys with acrylics but I wanted to clear coat them in Clear Gloss Pearl coat to give them a realistic automotive feel to them. The only type I can find is in a aerosol enamel form by Testors.

My question is the enamel won't effect the acrylic as long as it's dry and cured fully will it?

And also The only thing I planned on doing to my Leader Optimus's Truck mode is getting the flames pin striped by a professional/ brother of a friend. And just clear coating him also with the Pearl finish.

With my past experiences with enamel all bombing badly I thought I get a second opinion form you guys before I incinerate a a bunch of cash by mucking everything up.

there's a slight white tint to this paint, I'd practice on something you got to the side first. I've sprayed blue, for example, and it comes out light blue after the pearl's dry.

also, careful of this stuff on any metallic colors, it will void them (like turn silver into gray)

Ahhhh Fish sticks(lame I know but that what was for dinner:lol ). With it lightening up colors hues wise and dulling metallic paint it pretty much defeats my purpose of using it.

Is the any other way of adding a automotive shimmer effect to the plastic with out repainting the truck parts?

I really don't want to mess with the factory flames if I don't have to.

    EDIT:

What if I take a drop of silver metallic paint like game workshop dilute it with large amount of water. Basically to where I have just a fine metallic dust floating in water. I will be testing this out to see what the results will be tonight.
