the new breakdown toy that is coming out (spoilers below): If silas does indeed take over breakdowns body in the show, will the toy be named silas? Will they do what they did which the Skyquake toy and rename it at the last minute to conceal spoilers?
Exactly what i brought up yesterday in the discussion thread. As soon as I seen the ending it was the first thing that came to my mind. I think they will is Silas does end up in breakdowns body.
Undoubtedly no, if for no other reason than because I can't imagine they'd be able to trademark "Silas". Wouldn't be surprised if, assuming this theory comes to pass, it's mentioned in the toy's bio, though.
No. One, it would be spoilers. Two, most people will recognize him as Breakdown. A kid is going to tell their parents they want a Breakdown toy, but the parents won't know it if they see him named "Silas."
It'll be called Breakdown. Or the new character, Breakdown's uncle Breakup. He looks just like him but in different colors.
The cyberverse legion version just arrived as 'breakdown'. The voyager version will as well. They couldn't TM 'silas' any more they could 'bob' or 'steve'. I doubt the toy will even mention the MECH/Silas connection.
They won't call it Silas, but they could call it whatever his name will be in the show once Silas takes over the body. Just like they did a bait and switch with Skyquake, I have a feeling this will be the same.
