So, I'd really like to collect all the different Microns, but really don't want to have to buy the corresponding Prime figures. Which molds are unavailable in some sort of separate fashion like a capsule release?
If you want individual molds without buying the Prime figures, check out the AMW line (to date, six brand new molds plus six redecos) or the Gashapon capsule microns (all new molds, preassembled and w/paint aps). There are also individual campaign microns (a few PCC minicon redecos at the start of the line, than a bunch of clear variants of various types since then) but since they're Japanese exclusives, they're harder to come by and much more expensive in many cases.
TFsource and BigBad have nearly all of the capsule and AMW series. In January 2013, thre will be 2 sets of 5 microns that came with the main figs, they are different colors though, so if you're fine with that you wouldn't have to purchase the Takara Prime figs.
