Sorry if I missed an actual Warbotron thread, I searched it and it didn't come up.

What are the screws for? The instructions give no indication.

The screws are needed to assemble the X-ray figure as well as the individual gun pieces. There are some YouTube videos that would probably help with where they go. It is odd that the instructions don't mention them at all.

... well fuck. I snapped one of the pegs that the arms are supposed to go on to. Clean off. Help.

The X-Ray kit is notorious for having super tight joints/tolerances/etc.

I snapped the leg off my original one before I returned it for another.

Need to be super careful :(

Worst part is, the other arm went on perfectly.

Where do I contact the Warbotron people, and would a new X-Ray be free? Could I just get the sprews, or even just the three parts (chest+shoulder swivel things)?

Definitely do some research on youtube before progressing further. The legs are problematic as well, so you might want to get it all built before you ask for replacements now.

But. Whether or not I get it built, the one I have is still busted. Where/how can I get in touch with Warbotron and get new parts/a whole new X-Ray and get it assembled?

Well damn, I've had this thing hanging around in box for like almost a year now! Guess I'll need to be REALLY careful as I've crossed the point of no return...

The tolerances on this kit are pretty jacked. I do recall know that the arm pegs that were extremely tight and I had to use jewelers files on multiple spots on the guy. Come to think of it I believe there were a couple of YouTube reviewers that broke theirs in a similar spot.

Clearly... I opened Fierce Attack before lunch and everything works great. This is why I hate model kits.

A bottle of silicon lube is your friend here.
I broke one of the arm posts as well, but was able to knock up a fix using a brass pin and some of the sprue.
He's got a brass cap on his back as a result but at least he transforms.

    No sorry.
If I remember correctly I cut a small piece of sprue that was thinner than the arm post, so there was a pivot for the arm.
The snapped post I cut so it was flush in the hole it goes into, and added a bit of glue.
I then reassembled the torso pushing the pin in from the back, through the sprue and into the front torso piece.
This is what I ended up with.

I am going to try to take my set down to a local hobby/games shop once the model guy gets there in the afternoon and see if he can come up with a fix/put the rest of the thing together because now I'm too scared of breaking something.

Nope, that didn't work. Did get the broken pin out of the shoulder bit, though, so that's something. Nobody has any actual tutorials for this, do they?.
