Very true. "Aw Jazz... we lost a brave comrad... but fuck him we got new ones now!" "Optimus take my parts, and you will have a power you've never known." and later following some face stealing... "Man fuck all these extra bits... it just doesn't feel natural! I mean thanks for the powerboost but I'm gonna get Wheeljack to improve on these shitty old parts and make me a trailer!" For Wheeljack, his final moments I think really characterized him and made us care.
It's annoying that they couldn't treat every movie character like Q. Even though he didn't have much screentime/lines, he made good use of them, and in the end, we ended up caring about his character. It's a shame the movie crew couldn't learn from Q, and do this with every robot.
Even though they call themselves Que and Wheeljack in the movie? Look, I'm not too happy about the name change either, but I've come to accept their names. Well, kind of. They will likely be Wheeljack and Mirage on my shelf. At least until I get Classics Mirage and Generations Wheeljack. Then I'll call them by their movie names to avoid confusion, mass hysteria, riots in the streets, etc.
at the theaters, everyone just went oh snap and aww when you saw que get shot up. as they were pushing bee to finish him off too, i thought one of the decepticons like barricade would pick up ques head and go look at my trophy and juggle it around.
My keyboard needed that cherry coke that just came out of my nose. On topic though, I felt kind of bad for him. I knew when I first saw him that there was little to no chance of him surviving the movie though. Brutal death though.
I'm kinda curious if his toy bio will say he was "repaired by Ratchet" or something. You know, how they miraculously brought Jazz back to life.
well, I really WANTED to know more of him, character, fighting style (probably just stand back and shoot with the huge guns in his back), but when he died, I shed some tears and now I want ALL the toys of him, cyberverse, deluxe, even HA or other sizes!
Nah Bumblebee was the skull head, Q was the burn victim. No really look at the circles on his head design, they look like boils from an oil burn or something. But admittedly I felt bad for the guy.
I can't get that scene out of my head. I'm like depressed. This poor, elder Autobot pleading for his life in the sweetest, most gentle voice possible. Shot and decapitated. I'm legitimately sad. No, seriously, I hope we do get a revival of sorts via the toy. Actually, do we know when his toy is due out? If it will release some months after DOTM, perhaps we can expect to have some mention of a fix-up. I mean, who wants to play with a dead Transformer that you know already died?
