I just thought of an idea...

Since Primus' box is sooo awesome and worth keeping Primus in, I plan to go to Wal*Mart or Target to get some of those Velcro strips and cut them so I can strap him back into the cardboard inside the box... He should be nice and snug and not be able to wreck the box from the inside... :thumbs2:

Are you doing it for the value or what? because I don't think velcro straps are part of the MISB

No, I'm doing it for storage and keeping the box safe from the inside out... I wouldn't want Primus in there trashing around...

I usually just use a few twisties that come with. One ea for waiste, arms & legs. So it won't he's be easy access and secure. Keep all the rest in a little ziplok that floats around inside.

The box is too sweet though. Can see what ya mean for some kind of upgrade to turn it into more like a carrying case or something.

Those twist ties are the bane of my existence... I take my trusty wire cutters to them now and just toss them in the trash...

But if there was a way for me to put a handle on the sides of the boxes, that would be one SWEET carrying case...:lol

The thing with bagging Primus is, with all the little towers and whatnot, I fear that they will warp or snap if I were to have to transport him somewhere...

Even with bubble wrap I fear the towers snapping or warping... A lot of them have narrow parts...

Laminate the box if you don't care about reselling.

Or buy a glass case which is big enough for the box and Primus. Display it in a shrine.

The big catch with the cardboard inlay in the box is that T shaped piece hanging from the waist. It goes through the cardboard and down the back. Tricky to get out, and I don't really fancy going through it too much to get him in and out.

Here's a thought, though - the box's width is enough to stand the typical Galaxy Force or Super Link deluxe, in their boxes, inside. I've filled my Primus' box with ten other DX TFs from those two lines, and started rearranging the shelving to accomodate Primus that way. His box is the perfect size to fit in deluxes, neither too tight or too loose. They're just right to keep the shape once all the other innards are taken away.
