Wow Laser Prime looks surprisingly good. Bot mode looks better than expected but surprisingly the trailer base isn’t so bad.

 

Im starting to become convinced Mark drinks a whole six pack before doing these streams.

 

Imagine the shitstorm if we get Siege Prime legs and CW Silverbolt arms on the same figure...

Not much for me here in wave 1. To me, a lot of the previous toys of these characters looked better.

I do think the Laser Prime mold looks good. So I will be getting Scourge.

Wish the Core guys were shown off. They seem more interesting. Also wish there was an Energon Monster in wave 1 though.

 

Looking at the rotating Dragstrip section and there is no obvious CW connector and no hand disguised as a weapon so hey are definitely going the 3P route with Menasor. Can't wait to see him all together!

 

A few of us (myself included) are buying this Galvatron purely for the little figurines and ships that go with Unicron.

Arcee and Bulkhead: clearance bin buys if I get them at all. Much like Bulkhead, I wish they kept the Prime aesthetic. Prime Universe Transformers don’t have noses.

Drag Strip and Kickback: good, easy buys

G2 Laser Optimus: a bit wonky with the proportions. Shoulders are either a bit too blocky, or the limbs are a bit too skinny. Getting him either way. More excited for RID Scourge but this isn’t shabby at all. Truck mode looks sweet.

Packaging: I don’t care too much since it will be 100% thrown into the recycle bin, but good lord that is hard on the eyes.

 

Arcee looks way better than I was thinking she would, that’s a maybe for her. Bulkhead looks better but I’ll still go find the First Edition.

Kickback actually looks good and I don’t have any attachment to the G1 Insecticons. Hoping Dragstrip and the Stunticons turn out good for their fans.

Also, I have to say, John Moschitta is definitely a bit slower. But he still has energy, timing, etc. Happy for him and Guido.

Love that they had to acknowledge most of the cartoon nominees for Hall of Fame were already in it.

The fact that Blaster specifically wasn't revealed feels like such a targeted kick in the balls to me specifically. Yeah I know that's ridiculous.

 

Forearms out the back of Prime don't look so hot but the rest of it I like.

Probably picking up that and the rest of the G1ers.
