*Putting on my mmpr nerd hat* This guy was the first monster used by Lord Zedd, who is regarded as one of the most popular villains in the franchise. He helped bring down the Dinozords by freezing them and controlling the red tyrannosaurus rex zord. Of course it was Lord Zedd who encased them in lava, but Pirantishead did a number on them.

 

Well whatever his accomplishments are, to me he looks like an awesome mutant fish guy to me, which is enough to tempt me to buy him.  

 

He is indeed an awesome mutant fish face!

 

From what I recall The “Zyu2” monsters in general were pretty popular and a number of them came back multiple times to fight the Rangers. Most of them were guests at Zeus and Rita’s wedding alongside Eye Guy and Snizzard.

So that is why John Warden moved over to Power Rangers. To create the first transformable and poseable megazord that doesn't cost $300. Neat.

Does that Zord Ascension Zord transform then? I couldn't really tell one way or the other.

 

Can't cost as much as the Soul of Chogokin stuff. It is about the same size but Hasbro is most definitely not going to be using diecast metal anywhere in this.

They had them as separate parts on the side and it looked like there were the usual hinges. Plus you could see the flip down mastodon feet in the arms so either they are keeping the transformation kibble for no reason or it transforms.

 

Surely it will cost less than the old SoC Megazord. Fingers crossed


Either way, very excited to see where this zord ascension line goes!

 

So 13 more minutes til transformers. Hyped!

 

I think they said at the start it's the first transformable Megazord at this size or something along those lines so it should transform.
