COOL! Sounds like they were listening to those who hated TF PRIME's show all these years.

Now they've got more of my attention then I thought as a result.

If any of the Stunticons are available to order Friday I'm betting they will be sold out before the Premium time is over.

Looking forward to seeing the new line & which characters / continuities are included.

But I also hope that one day we get an actual original Transformers line with new characters again, instead of just legacy rehashes of previous lines.

The last proper series that had original design styles & characters (and a quality toyline to accompany them) were, what, Animated and Prime? Almost a decade ago now.

Hopefully once Hasbro is finished remaking the last 20 years, they'll finally create something new.

Why does Hasbro always give Studio Series the shaft when doing events like this?

And of course they time everything so it falls right during the start of TFcon in Baltimore forcing us to have to chose where our time is spent. Should have pushed Pulsecon off to the week after. Dumbass move Hasbro.

Not to mention Pulse delivers slower, but delivers. Knowing your PO is locked in compared to Target/Walmart or even Amazon is a huge sanity saver.

Not sure about all of SS but I'm willing to bet some of those leaked SS86 figures will be revealed at the next NY Toy Fair in Feb.

Thankfully W1 is usually the easiest to find in stores.

Premium access isn’t a cash grab, free shipping and a better chance of getting items is a worth it, and yes in this day and age free shipping is still a big enough perk; especially if you consider EEs insanely high shipping.

That was Prime Wars, RiD/Cyberverse and this place hated it.

It's not really free shipping if you're paying for free shipping....

TFcon was scheduled 5 years ago to be on Oct. 22nd. Hasbro just pulled Pulse Con out of their ass 6 weeks ago. Not much of a competition here. Hasbro could have easily moved it up a week or back a week to prevent pissed off fans.

"influencer/celebrity marketing" is REALLY a big go-to in the modern marketing playbook. Read any agency blog or literature on marketing and digital marketing in the last 5 years (if not more) and you are gonna see "Influencer marketing" and partnerships mentioned regularly.

Other than the obvious DBZ-joke for starsaber hitting 9000 backers, I suspect this line of thinking what strongly influenced the decision to approach Chris Sabat to help with announcements reveals.

Like her or hate her, Kim Kardashian, and the whole Kardashian tribe for that matter, wrote the book on this and are what a number of massive brands have bought into in terms of methodology. And as much of a joke as it was when she hosted SNL last week, it is 100% true and accurate that the numbers she commands on social media MASSIVELY dwarf the ratings numbers SNL gets each week.

I could be completely off with all this, but I think there is a pattern or strategic motive at play here with these kind of decisions.

Of course, it doesn't help that TR was the only good line in the Prime Wars trilogy. CW was mostly comprised of repaints and remolds, and POTP just felt rushed through because Hasbro wanted to get to Siege.

There's no doubt that Hasbro has become creatively bankrupt as of late. It's a shame that the brand has become more reliant on nostalgia rather than creativity. However, it's nice to see other continuities get included in the Generations line.
