Speaking of the art, I noticed that the poster they showed is all wave one characters so I'm wondering if we'll see a different poster for each wave, that would be neat.

 

I think it is very much likely that what we are seeing is a line affected by COVID. Kingdom was too far along into production to change direction significantly, but Legacy's offerings definitely give that "budget was slashed" feeling I got from things like POTP and FOC.

 

Release is next summer?!? That seems a lot off-schedule.

 

I'm not so sure about Prime Soundwave. I'd love it, but some say it's a repack of Brickwave

Well yeah, but I meant shoulder armour so huge that it's over twice the size of your head. At that point realism is out the window.

I'll have to see more to decide on those shoulders.

 

I am fine with the first wave being a long ways away. Gives me more time to save up money for them after the beating my bank account got with WfC and Victory Saber.

So is there any possibility that the Behold Galvatron Companion Pack may come back in stock at Pulse? Or some other place like Bigbadtoystore may get some? I had to work yesterday in the afternoon until late last night and I missed out.

 

I have the green Generation Selects G2 Megatron, which I bought on a lark (i.e. while drinking) out of nostalgia for GI Joe / G2 TF comic covers I remembered seeing as a kid. It kind of just sits there and doesnt really fit my collection, but I’m wondering if this Laser Prime (which looks spectacular imo) would be a good buy to accompany him on the shelf. Is there any continuity / fiction with these two versions together? Or is the Laser Prime more of a partner piece to the purple G2 Megs?

 

It is believed to be the insecticon, but he was a little vague. Currently the thought by others is 4-to-1 the insecticon to the Cybertron figure.

 

I can't ever find anything in stores anymore, hardly, so I just order online as I always have.

Of course, that STILL doesn't stop people from buying from Amazon, stealing the figure, replacing it, and then abusing Amazon's return policy and then Amazon reselling them as new. I know that's happened to me with a GPU a few years ago, and I've heard it happening to other people for other things over the years.

That's why I usually just use Pulse and BBTS these days. I really hate having such a limited set of options, but corporate retail has basically required it if I don't want to risk going through shit for my toys. The pandemic has just made it even more so.

 

At least in the 4 pack it's almost certainly the insecticon. Amazon probably has our backs though

 

Aww crap, of course I fell asleep watching tv before I put in an order for the Galvatron/ Unicron accessory pack and now it's gone. I'm very annoyed at myself.

Do they ever get a restock on stuff like this, or is it a one shot chance to order it from Pulse and now I'm stuck with eBay prices?

 

Im still surprised they havent officially shown the end of the Kingdom line yet. Another thing I noticed is the new stuff isnt out till July next year so.....whats filling the gap as we normally get the new line Jan/March time.
