I haven't seen anyone panicking either. Bay fans in the Scrapheap reveal thread is people panicking. G1 fans are all like "Happy for people who are excited for this! smileysmileysmiley Also I'm buying some or all of these."

(We're also all pretending there's some meaningful difference between G1 Windblade and Cyberverse Windblade.)

I know I'm a weirdo, but I'd still rather she had her IDW space plane alt as a retool of TR Mindwipe, except without the rubber material for the plane wings and the retool allowing her non-Headmaster head to actually fold into her chest instead of just dangling there like Collaborative Dracula's head does. If she had an Earth alt, my preference is something non-combat-y and iconic, like a Transavia PL-12 Airtruk. And hey, HasTak could always retool/redeco an Airtruk fembot mold into another Junkion as a Beyond Thunderdome homage.

Kinda makes me think of 86 Slug's chest/torso that compresses in from the sides when he transforms to stego mode. Maybe something similar could happen with a Screamer/Slipstream base mold, though it'd obviously have to account for the rest of the transformation.

Unless you're a Junkion completist, I think it comes down to your opinion on the Siege Hound mold. If you enjoyed Siege Hound's transformation, you'll likely enjoy Detritus even better. If you didn't, you can safely wait for Buzzworthy Hound (or skip entirely). It's too bad no 3rd party has made a kit to give either of the Hound/Detritus molds the G.I.Joe VAMP/VAMP mk II weapon systems.

I think I remember reading that her alt mode was Intended to be a biplane of sorts, so something a little blockier like Mindwipe might be a little better.

To be clear, you're speculating that the same power-up pieces included with Tidal Wave (or a color variant of them) will also be sold with Thundertron? So we'll have two shots at getting them?
If so, that's not bad. Now Armada Galvatron will have something to wear.

So who do you think is the Omega-Level Haslab they teased?

My darkhorse guess is Devastator because he is Omega’s nemesis.

Also who is the secret Dinobot they are working on?

Could it be a SS86 Swoop or maybe a leader class Skarr?

So much of this release are very easy passes. I'm down for Tigerhawk, Magmatron and Tidal Wave and that's it. This combined with the all Classified Joe Reveal is saving me a LOT of Money

had a thought, how about thundertron retooled as thunderhowl? they have a similar overall body with beast head chestplate, big shoulder pads, claws on the robot wrists etc.

I didn't think about it until I saw the figure, but it would make a lot of sense, and would help justify the odd character choice

It's swoop. They said in the same conversation "it's awesome seeing all 5 together". Hardly a mystery.

Devastator is unlikely because he would fit in SS86 mainline. And he's popular.

Could be anyone. Selfishly, Road Caesar, liokaiser, or Computron (yes I know, no victory). I think figures the size of deathsaurus with some complexity or something with a combination fits best into haslabs - most everything else is either too big and expensive or fits well into retail.

There's a few threads on the haslabs over in the toys subforum btw

I'm going with Primus. I would imagine similar to how Tidal Wave is borrowing from different lore (video game size, Armada feature), Primus would be done in a way to fit more than one continuity. And a big feature of Cybertron Primus was the Omega Lock.
Having said that, I would rather see Devastator, in the same scale as the other combiners.

Swoop is not a secret. They told us we would get all of the Dinobots, and I think Swoop might even be on the leak list for next year.
Skar/Scarr would be cool. I wouldn't mind more pseudo-G1 additions to the line. We just wouldn't have it in SS86, so I hope the general aesthetic would be similar.
