Soundwave isn't just a retooled figure. He's got two Battlemastets. The Netflix Soundwave reflected that as well. People have done a fantastic job breaking down the math. Cope. Scale goes out the window for Core by default. Of those released thus far, only Rattrap, Wheelie, Daniel and Ravage are actually scaled relative to their respective universe. The rest are a mix of G1 and Bay guys who've been sized down. Dinobots included.

Since we got the space bridge from Animated, I wonder if it also means anything besides Animated Prowl. Maybe Lugnut.

Oh my goodness that is a bombshell of reveals. That Hot Shot for one is absolutely stunning; I could probably try to nitpic it but it nails him in every way and they even left a minicon peg for Jolt. Also noteworthy is that they actually got the head right unlike the Universe toy. Whoever designed this was clearly paying attention. Whereas with Starscream I feel incredibly iffy that Hotshot gives me unyielding joy and I cannot wait to get him; hope we get a jolt for him too and we better get a powerlinx deco too (bonus points if they pull the unreleased Universe Smokescreen). Lio Convoy as well is something I didn't think we'd see; so glad we're getting him and I do very much hope Hasbro doesn't leave him without a foe and gives us Galvatron soon enough too or at least puts out Dirgegun and Thrustor since the molds exist. SG Soundwave looks great and he even has the headband; I might kind of complain about Ravage being there (would rather one of the other tapes and leave Ravage for a set with the other KPs) but he suits the release and either way it means I'll have a new Glit. Core Soundblaster looks gorgeous; that Soundblaster deco can do no wrong and they made it do so much right. Not an IDW fan so Tarn appeals to me less but hot damn did they nail him and I'm happy for IDW fans finally getting him and in such perfection as well. Needlenose I'm tempted to get just cuz; I love targetmasters and while his alt mode looks a bit doofy it's just cool that they even did him. And of course Breakdown and the OP/A3 set we've seen but I like em anyway. This is probably the set of reveals that's fully renewed my faith in Legacy. I hope we keep getting releases of this calibur going forward.
Isn't pink Laserbeak technically in scale with the Baybots? Some thoughts: -Was really hoping Hot Shot would be the Cybertron design. Hope it doesn't suck ass a la the T30 version. At least a certain wiki owner I have...less than sterling thoughts on will be happy. -Needlenose is cool af, though I do wonder what they mean by "opening up possibilities" for future Deluxes. Could be as simple as even better engineering, possibly even approaching Voyager level -SG Soundwave is a fun redeco, too bad they haven't reissued the Netflix one for people who didn't get it. -Scraphook is cool! I like that he can become corpse armor but transform without being taken apart. For some reason he gives me Energon vibes -Tarn. People know about my distaste for the IDW fiction, but he's one of the legit cool designs to come from their stable of "original characters, do not steal". Might pick him up. -Core Dinobots. YES. All for this. Combining is ambitious. Hope this opens the way for future Core combiners (Monstructor please!). -Surprised they didn't reveal the Commander or Titan yet, but since it's Armada's big year my fingers are crossed

Thats a theory thats been thrown around, and it makes sense. Will be interesting to see! Maybe the big bad of Evolution, although heres hoping Tarn plays that role.
Titan and comaders don't come till later so they wouldn't be revealed especially since it's not combiner related but listing will come soon by the avarage leaks patern
I'm on that boat it may look like tarn but it's not tarn the head is playing double duty in my opinion
my first thought was they were trying something to combat the theft of heads craze that has been sweeping toy aisles without totally closing up the boxes, which they probably will end up doing at some point...
