PSN Error code 80710102 (Playstation 3 won't connect to the internet)

    Hey everyone,

    I've had this problem since mid-june, but I can't seem to connect my Playstation 3 to the Playstation Network. Every time I try to set up the connection, I always get a message that says "Connection failed Error code 80710102." I was wondering if anyone else who owns a PS3 on this site has run into that problem as well, and if anyone has any idea on how to help me solve this issue. Thank you!

    I looked on playstation.com and this below what it gave me. It said if you use wi-fi your signal may be weak, one way to test that theory is to see if you can use the internet browser. Just enter the code and it'll give you some tips:

    You most likely will need to manually configure your router and probably open up a few specific ports. I don't have any links to the many guides out there on how to do this, but if I can find one I'll post it here. Your best bet is to just look over the PS3 forums to see if anyone has similar issues.
