Just went to download the add on for WFC and there is nothing in the disc based game add on?!

Am I blind or did they forget about PSN? I know the 360 already has their download, where is ours?

 

Maybe Microsoft negotiated a week's early release or something?

ya PS3 update isnt until after 6PM Est every tuesday... so your not blind its just not there yet.

xbox just updates in the am which i dont understand why sony doesnt follow suit.

Sony updates whenever the hell they want to. Back when they updated on Thursdays, they occasionally let updates wait until several hours into Friday.

They havent been THAT late since they switched to Tuesdays, but the times are still random. A few times, they've updated in the early afternoon (EST). Sometimes it's around 10-11 PM. You just never know.

 

Yikes, that's really lame. I guess that's free online play for ya... Seems like I should just wait till tomorrow on that note.

 

Yeah...they have been getting a bit ridiculous lately with the updates. Even on their blog you have people complaining about updates after 7:30 pm est and such.

Just checked and still nothing. So I guess this will be another "after 7pm" week.....sigh....

its 23:46 in uk now but i'm not giving up yet (staying up until at least 12 which is when its supposed to come out (6-7pm in est time))

Nah, that's just them updating whenever the hell they want. Some demos come out on Tuesday's now when Live's come out the next day, because of Sony switchin' to Tuesdays. Surely that's not free online for ya  

That's like saying that Zelda games should be free because Myamoto releases them whenever the hell he wants, lol

 

Meh. The only times I've ever actually cared about DLC downloads being available is when I'm constantly refreshing, which I think the last time this happened was for the ROTF game.

Not a big deal. I'm patient.

 

I guess what I'm saying is for Xbox you pay and you don't have this sporadic updating (never ran into this before) and for PS3 you don't pay, and you have this strange untimely updating method. If we want to split hairs, I guess when you say "July 27th" does that mean midnight? Maybe. This 6 to 7 pm EST stuff is a little outside my expectations either way. My expectation would be that it would be available for download sometime this morning is all.

Still somewhat more of a new user to the Ps3 and DLC, but I've downloaded a lot of DLC with the Xbox.

Like I said, this is NOT a big deal. People are WAY too impatient. It'll show up when it shows up. Go play another game instead of wasting time staring at an un-updated PSN store.

Bigger things in life to worry about than PSN's update schedule. Unfortunately, some folks don't get that.

 

I just want to say that it will come eventually and will be worth the wait.
