Just a few tweaks to Generations (?) Prowl to improve his G1-ness:

    > Ground down his door windows
    > Cut and refit pieces of his fenders to his hood and arms so that his hood
is more complete in robot mode
    > Removed the black collar and used a Kreo piece (ground down) to keep
    his transformation complete.
    > Removed his spoiler

    Please comment and enjoy!

EDIT: added animated gif showing transformation
Update: added reply post showing Kreo part and cuts needed. here

Interesting... in particular because it looks like you've eliminated that very noticeable gap the CHUG figure has. He's also able to transform without partsforming?

Would be neat to see altered transformation screenshots.

Yes, he's able to transform w/o partsforming.

I'll take some more shots later after I finish reading my camera's
manual.. still working w/ changing exposure settings.

You need to do a tutorial on the loss of the collar and the kreo/lego piece you used to put the new head on. it improves the figure's looks so much.

Wow, I really may just have to do this. And yea, a little tutorial on the collar bit would be great!

Here's how I did the neck mod. Basically had to grind down this tiny hinge Kreo part as you see and then glued the whole thing together. Prowl can't turn his head anymore but that's a small loss I think.. and I think if you're more careful about how you grind you might actually be able to make a neck for him so that he can turn his head.

Also updated the first post with the animation showing his transformation.

Nicely done... especially with that collar replacement. I just ended up sanding mine down till it's paper thin, which also works. I've done the chest mod too, but made the same mistake of cutting the fenders at a slant, which interferes with Prowl's shoulders just a bit. :(

You should parts-swap in grey bits from a Smokescreen now, for the upper legs and launchers. :)
