Transtech and the retool of RID Megatron into BW Megatron. The red just looks so much better than both the Purple and White versions and I never really cared for the original head sculpt.

I want a Transmetal rubber ducky, just like in the show.

 

I'm waiting, Perfect Effect. It'll probably be made eventually, but still I want my PE Soundwave.

 

I would've said MP Starscream but now I'd rather wait and see what TakTomy has in store for us with the F-14 release.

You guys know we kind of did get Transtech Starscream, right? It went through a couple changes transformation wise and quite a few sculpting wise, but Toybiz's Marvel Megamorphs Ironman figure is heavily based on Transtech Starscream.

The main differences I can see are:

The head and nose section have been changed so the head is on the back, not under, and the nose does not flip up and around.

The rear tail section that covered the legs has been removed.

The legs flip down 180 degrees, as opposed to 90 degrees.

The arms are still under the wings, but by a different joint and the wings swing around to the back for the robot mode, as opposed to just folding to the sides.


However, neither piece has enough pictures or information online to determine how good either of them are. Transtech for the obvious reasons, Megamorphs because I don't think anyone cares.

Like I said, it had a significant amount of redesign, possibly because, while Toybiz helped design TT Screamer, I don't think it actually had full rights on the mold. And thank you for quoting the original version of that post before I edited it with extra information, even though you were posting right below me. That was real smooth.

Looking at the two designs, it seems like they just simplified Transtech screamer, who was already a fairly simple design. Rather than having the legs fold down, they made the upper torso and legs connected to a solid piece and had the nose flip down, which means most of steps in the transformation were lost and the wings ended up on the back, not the sides.

I suppose it isn't really representative of TT Screamer anymore, but it is an interesting footnote.

I wish Hasbro made a version of Soundwave based on the art that eventually got made into Sonicron (I can't help but feel that Hasbro would've done better).

That Defensor made from RiD Prime looked awesome. Even if it wasn't a remold I would've like it (I love Hot Spot's colors). The Titanium Hot Spot was... something, but I think Hasbro could stand to rerelease this mold in some form.

Unproduced Animated figures, a lot of Transtech designs, also that SUV Classics Soundwave. I also wish that Botcon RID Megatron retool into BW Megatron had been made.

 

It looks as if they based Classics Onslaught on this design.

 

RiD Defensor and Cosmos!!! Maybe Cosmos will be resurrected when the next line of classics comes out.

 

Oh, and Cybertron Scrapmetal with the G1 head.
