I'd have liked to get ahold of that Animated Hot Shot figure.

That G1 Rodimus prototype.....by the Gods, can you imagine that's what we got instead of the absolute rubbish that is the current Rodimus Prime? Even for G1, and a toy that's supposed to be a G1 Leader character, it's awful.

Is it really that much of a difference? Looks to me it's just the size, plus instead of a battle base, you get a communications center, which seems strange for a leader character in battle.

It still shits me to this day that we never got a G1 Arcee figure. While this would have been one sucky toy, This thing would have been right at home in the 1986 line-up:

You mean this thing? For G2 standards, it would have fitted right in. I can only imagine what a Joe/TF Human Alliance Crossover would look like in the modern era...

I dunno if this was even remotely real, but I heard some scuttlebutt way back in the day of a possible evil Protectobot set released during RiD to bolster the number of Decepticon toys. Would've loved to see that happen.

If they had made Cosmos, I would pay $50 bucks for him. I think they just threw the prototype away for good, its a crime!
