Is this still floating around? I thought he was renamed "Safeway".

No, sorry. Bendway was the name. Got things confused in the original posting, thanks for pointing it out.

We haven't seen anything about this figure for quite awhile. I was wondering what might be going on with it. I have to say that the prototype makes this...

I wonder if they are interested in selling off the prototypes? :)

That's cool. I do wonder how they're going to manage to sell this at the proposed price given that they want to manufacture it in Germany.

Any news? Should we just assume this will never be released?

Yes, what is the deal with this? Will it be released? And what about the money of those who preordered it? Is it just...gone?

I pre-ordered this over a year ago. I was plenty sure it wasn't coming. We will see.

Haven't gotten an update from the company since April of 2010. At that time they sent an email to all who preordered saying they had to switch production partners and that the toy would be shipping in September of 2010.

I've pretty much given up on it being released at all. Too bad, it was a unique looking figure.

Only in prototype form? I thought it was released years ago, LOL, especially when I saw this ads: [IMG]

Yeah, this still sits in my BBTS pre-orders...along with the stand for Masterpiece Voltron...eventually I'll have a long list of pre-orders that will just never exist :p

Seriously, this guy is like the 3rd party Transformers equivalent of Duke Nukem Forever. It's been quite a while since we saw any news of him. He was always very interesting, being a bus and all.

Hopefully this means they're making progress.

This pre-order has become somewhat of a running joke between one of my friends and I. Can't wait to see it if/when it finally comes out because it looks really cool!
