A little teaser of a wip I have going on. I'll have some accessories that will be included as well. The goal is to have a closer to G1 look without the set looking too far from the aesthetic of what's already there. It won't just be "slapped on".
I like this idea. The Protector upgrade looks cool, but it's a bit too stylized. I've actually been hankering for a classics Rodimus that looks a bit more like MP.

looks promising. might i suggest a slightly different head sculpt? it looks like nice but it doesnt match the armor at all... head is too rounded where everything else is at an angle.

The head will have some more dramatic angles to tie in with the rest of the armour but not much. Roddy had a very rounded head plus; if you look at City Commander, he doesn't have a rounded part on him except for his helmet which is very much rounded. Thanks bud! I will be eagerly awaiting to see what you do. It is off to a good start. You are keeping close enough to the original FP aesthetic to keep a cohesive whole, but you are also taking it in your own direction. I think as long as you keep a handle on your artist's license this will come out quite nicely.
