Okay so I couldn't resist redoing First Aid when Univ. Ratchet came out. Vehicle wise all I did was add some paint detail to the front, some decals, and oh replaced that hideous light bar with something a little better. Now for the head, this was a huge undertaking. I never had attempted this heavy of a modification to head before (and my previous heavy body mod Dragstrip ended up a disaster). So I was rather nervous going into this one, but I did it any. I took a head that had features that First Aid had and then started customizing it. Shaving things off, filling things in ect. For my second major mod I don't think it came out to bad. Can anyone guess what it started out as? Hope you enjoy First Aid version 2. Also attached you will find the group photos of the 4 of the 5 Protectobots completed so far. I have Blades modified, taped, and ready for paint if the rain and humidity lets up so I can spray him.
Here is the web page for those backdrops, they have one for the Autobots and Decepticons also there is one for Teletran 1. http://x4.ofgraphicdesign.com/projects/ark/
I like the whole group and Ratchet works pretty good for First Aid. I have a question/suggestion about your pictures. It looks like when you are taking the group shots that maybe you left the macro setting on? They are kinda blurry.
Thanks. Ooops it was. The head is actually classics Ultra Magnus. I ground down the sides & top quite a bit so it would fit and then I filled in the eyes to make a full eye bar.
That looks great! I think I like this mold more as Trailbreaker and First Aid than I do as Ironhide and Ratchet
