I don't see how anyone could complain about this

I mean, the chrome is eh looking, but it's not that noticeable.
Will definitely be picking it up

 

Wrist swivels aren't usually something I am concerned about, but if it ever does bother me, it's for figures that have melee weapons. I don't think I care one way or the other if Jetfire has them.

 

This is definitely "the" Classics Skyfire, at least in my opinion. Its large and has the "feel" of Skyfire from G1. Would have been perfect if not for the hollow parts, which as some posters have already pointed out, unacceptable at this price considering the fact that there is no electronics on him. Regardless of this flaw, I will definitely pick him up (or two).

 

Looks awesome, especially with the backpack done right. I cannot wait for a third party to give us panels for the arms and legs along with better guns and closer-to-Macross fastpacks. Plus, Reprolabels should be able to spice him up quite a bit. I'm pretty down for all of it.

Figure looks awesome but the Jet mode is exactly how I like my Jetfire nice and sleek ready to bomb your mom, haha! Can't wait for this figure.

 

I love wrist swivel, but it is never make or break for me. I agree with you on the melee weapon bit. Thats where swivel really shines.

And regarding the chrome, I feel like I'll probably just ditch those parts. Seems to retain toon accuracy when they're not attached, so Bob's your uncle.

A bigger concern I have is a general one: my classics Jetfire is yellowed badly. All the white on this...

 

I'm very happy to see that these leader class figure will be closer to ultra class.

The new Megatron and Prime will look good side by side.

 

He's Gorgeous. Holy crap he towers over Classics Starscream like a giant...which is great since he was actually one of the largest Transformers.

 

The only thing that continues to bug me is the hollow outer forearms. Hollowness on biceps and thighs on the inside doesn't bug me. It's out of the way, y'know? But where it's plainly visible in the light, I dunno, it grooves me the wrong way.

Everything else? STUNNING. The jet mode is amazing, the sixe, proportions, sculpt, all amazing. The head is just perfect. I will buy this guy immediately and fill in the damn gaps if they really bug me that much.

 

From where Tcracker is from, the pricing for leader Jetfire is equivalent to $64 USD.

So you guys in the states are lucky for the cheap pricing you get for regular mainline TF releases.

Wow...that hollowness in the thighs, that weird chrome...I actually prefer my Classics Jetfire more. The Voyager figure's super solid, and it scales pretty well with Optimus and Starscream.

 

It think it looks perfect for the price as well as being a Hasbro product. Already preordered. Thanks TCracker for the review. Awesome pics as always.
