Yeah, I apologize. I don't feel comfortable releasing an unpolished product on the public. This shit's expensive!
Has anyone been able to color match their heel add-ons to the grey on defender? I ordered them in WSFpolished so need to paint this and would like to get as close as possible to the original color on his feet. Thanks
Has anyone yet suggested that we need some sort of adapter for Steel Core's translucent blade thing to mount on his gun like a bayonet? And/or store in vehicle mode. (Just saw your fantastic pictures of Steel Core, btw).
It's actually good to see it in clear... Hides easily. Nope... Good suggestion.. Now, if only process can get some stuff done...
Finally finished up the Rumbler for Botcon Galvatron. The fitting is a little tight, and may scratch the paint off the arm peg, but I wanted to make sure it the fitting would survive the polishing process. Shown below painted black and clearcoated. Next up is finishing the masterpiece Prime rifle.
Hey Process, Is there a chance that you would scale down your Classic Prime Rifle to fit Alternity Prime?
Something interested the last time I dyed some parts that I thought I'd share. As per my usual procedure, I mixed some black dye in a cup of water to microwave. I left the part, a Classics Optimus Prime gun, to soak in the hot water, and covered the cup with a paper towel to insulate the top. About a 30 minutes to an hour later, I took the paper towel lid off to find this: It looks like the hot vapor, trapped because of the paper towel, condensed around the rim of the cup. I hypothesize it was because of impurities in the solution beyond the water and dye, or different concentrations of the dye in the water droplets, that caused this variation in color. Fascinating!
Thinktank already has that - http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/commi...ck/592251-dt-pg-tfp-megatron-upgrade-kit.html
I decided to make a P38 barrel for Classics Megs to go with the fusion cannon. Polished WSF with some Citadel mithril silver.
