Maybe we have get used to seeing movie Optimus Prime,hence there is familiar type of feeling when we watch Prime series.

 

To be quite honest Prime's face never bothered me at all. For some reason it never got me freaked out about it like it did for some people.

I don't mind his face, (which is strange, because the first time the movies did it, I didn't like it, but have since come to), the only thin that bothers me about his face is that his mouth has no lips. It looks fine on Megatron, but Prime needs lips. They put big ass eyebrows on everyone, but no lips.

I didn't like his face at first, but I got used to it after a while. He looked cooler in the older transformers cartoons, but he does have a unique look to him in Prime.

Definitely not the only one.   My first thought was: "Prime's face is growing on him!?!? Get it off! GetitoffGetitoffGetitoffGetitoffGetitoffGetitoffGetitoff!!!!!!!!"

I never took issue with his face sans-mouthplate. It looked a tad strange at first, but I wasn't throwing a hissy-fit like some people. I've come to like it more and more, but then again, I was always a fan of the whole retractable battle-mask thing (Beast Wars, Cybertron, Bayformers, Animated). I just think that concept in itself is cool. Why have a massive clunky faceplate on all of the time? Why not just for battle?

 

That's what sold it for me too. He just looked so friendly and I had an urge to hug him.

I love to see him smile now!

 

It's not bad but it didn't suit the Optimus Prime we all knew but it does indeed look like it'll suit Orion Pax quite fine.

 

Seems a bit bland in my opinion but I'm used to it and it fits with the others. Wouldn't mind if it was more detailed and fleshed out so to speak.

 

I started laughing when I first saw his face but I really do like it now.

 

Agreed, at first i hated the Prime faces, but now they're some of my favorite Transformers designs.
Especially Prime and Starscream's face
Also the eyebrows, i disliked them at first, but now i hope they become a mainstay in future transformers design.

 

TFP Optimus face is my favorite Optimus face. Honestly. The movie one and TFA ones always look ugly to me and I LIKE both of those styles.

Don't get me started on Cybertron Optimus.

Ah yes, the wooden puppet mouth thing. Weird on the animation, frightening on the toy.

The moving face plate was a little ackward for me, in the beginning, but that's about it.

 

Maybe if someone photoshopped a nose onto it, the noseless face would be less wierd to others (I don't mind) by comparrison.
