    Painting in progress, need to give Iguanas a lighter colour... Thunderwing this the test, pleased he got a slightly bigger head and chest for the final design as he needed/needs that...

    With the virus going around I spent time today at home painting up Iguanus! I may still add the black paint and shoulder pads on his arms for total G1 accuracy. Thanks again Cha Chi for making these Pretender shells, looking forward to Finback to complete the set!

    On my "social distancing" imposed self exile, I worked on the Doubleheader and Longtooth shells. Hoping Cha Chi makes a Pincher shell in the future!

    More of my custom Primemaster Pretenders, this time its Waverider and Roadblock. I made Roadblock just as a homage to the G1 so its not meant to be exact. Waveriders outer shell is from Shapeways, Minimondomayhem!

    So...we only need Finback and Pincher to complete the regular sets, then 3 more classics to finish up, right?

    I sure hope Finback and Pincher are next on the to-do list!

    I also hope the files become for sale so I can print my own resin copies in the right colors! Less paint = better toy!

    I think in about 15 years, we are really going to be able to print stuff, very nicely, on par with hasbro with either the right color of plastic or with paint, but right now, I cant paint for the life of me and I only use 3d printing for stuff like gap fillers and maybe small weapons

    You haven't tried an SLA printer then. Mine prints nicer than Shapeways does regardless of the color, and I have a low end model.
