    Hey guys,

I'm kinda at a loss for this one. At the moment, I've only got the spare cash for one of the following (could of had both if I didn't find a few vehicons at Aldi's :lol  )
    A. Breakdown Silas
    B. Prime First Edition & Bulkhead First Edition

I love all three of the molds, but I need a little something to help me pick one option or the other: pics, vids, cool poses, etc. I am planning on ordering from BBTS for either case, and I know shipping will be different, but I wanted to get your input on what I should choose.

    Thanks

I would go with the First Editions. I own both the FE's and Breakdown, and while they're all good figures, I think the FE ones are the better value and toys.

However, if you can get one of the Breakdowns, you might want to jump on it simply because of the rarity of him, they go fast and unlike the FE toys, he won't have a very large quantity in stock for sale.

So...that probably didn't help make the choice easier ^^"

I'd go with FE Bulkhead and Prime. The Breakdown mold is decent but no way is it better than FE Bulkhead or Optimus, let alone the two combined.

FE Prime and Bulkhead are both great figures and, IMO, better than the general release retail PRID versions.

FE Bulkhead and Prime are almost mini-masterpieces. The complexity is satisfying, and they're solid pieces.

Okay, thanks for the input guys!! KEEP IT COMING! :D
    3 questions though:
    (1) are the stickers for bulkhead comparable to a reprolabels set?
    (2) which of the three figures is heaviest, second, lightest?
    (3) has there been any word on the retail price of Prime and Bulky @ TRU?

Pretty much this. I love the Breakdown Mold, and while Silas will no doubt be the rarer and more sought after item, FE Prime is a bloody awesome figure in his own right, and Bulkhead shines very brightly too. Given the choice, I'd choose Bulks and prime.

But, you have to ask yourself if you want a collectors item or two brilliant figures. If you can somehow get all three, bully to you!!

I would suggest FE. Got myself a FE Optimus Prime and it is awesome.

    (1) FE Bulkhead doesn't have stickers.

    (2) Not sure.

    (3) No, My guess is around $25.

1-No stickers, those are only for Arms Micron figures (the Japanese ones)

2-Not sure. But I'd guess Breakdown would be last since the PRID figures in general seem smaller.

3-IDK US prices, but probably the same as a normal voyager.

Whoops, my bad. I meant for the breakdown mold. I saw a few reviews and the reviewers mentioned struggles with sticker application, especially the rear bumper. I also collect gundam model kits, so I guess that counts for some experience in the sticker application dept.! :lol  I'm not sure if they'll be worse though.

I think I've made my decision. Thanks again guys!

Breakdown's bumper sticker was a pain as you mentioned. Also the second release of the mold, Swerve, has less stickers (the bumper sticker was notably absent). We don't really know if the Cylas version will have more or less, so its not a question that can really be answered accurately before it's released.

If you plan on reselling and keeping the figure MISB, go for Breakdown. With the rerelease of the FE Voyagers, their value will drop, but depending on how fast they sell out, you still might be able to make a profit on them, albeit, several years down the line.

On the figures themselves, get the FE Voyagers. A fantastic looking representation of Prime Bulkhead, and one of the best Optimus Prime molds to ever come out - makes top 3 easily.

Wow! I definitely didn't know that about Swerve's bumper sticker. So, it was just left blank then, or was it painted? If it was painted, I hope that that is going to be the case for S. Breakdown.
The metallic paint is looking good too!

Yeah, I've heard quite a few people saying that the prime is fantastic and the same goes for bulkhead. I guess it is just the allure of the rarity that brought up the question. Granted, I saw reviews of breakdown and liked the mold as well.

More recently, I saw that there were some (most probably small scale & not a big deal) QC issues with the BBTS issue of bulkhead, but I am not really giving it all that much thought.

Silas. FE Prime and Bulk will be released in the US, so they'll be easy to track down. Once Silas is sold out, you'll have to pay eBay prices.

I'd go with FE Bulkhead and Optimus. Breakdown is great but I don't like the gap in his arm when he holds the hammer.
