So I recently found out about this figure and am going to pick one up, but I've noticed that there are a couple different editions. My questions are; What are the differences between the First edition vs the prime rid vs whatever else ? Which one do you prefer and why? Thanks!

The FE is vastly superior with a better, more accurate transformation that's not hampered by budget cuts or the powerizer gimmick they shoved in there. The only thing the RID figure has on the original is an articulated jaw.

 

One's a piece of shit and the other's the first edition.

 

The First Edition is considerably more complex and well-done than the RiD version that was released after the downsizing. The First Edition can be hard/expensive to acquire over the RiD though, but FE>RiD.
Mainly because of that wrecking ball mechtech gimmick on the RiD.

 

The FE beats the PRID version without breaking a sweat.

The TakTom FE is even better yet.

That beautiful darker green.

That's a preference thing though.

 

The shiny green paint, but I prefer the American release because it's not ridiculously expensive and, IMO, it's got a more show accurate color.
