Found spare Ratchet today, so I spent an hour doing this. Still really rough but I need to wait for the putty to harden.
Hah... CHUG Soundwave with Prime Ratchet's body... Amazing how a fake chest allows for sooooo many possiblities. Wonder if you could carve out or simply replace the chest with WFC Soundwaves... that'd be flippin' sweet.
That's actually a pretty creative way to make a CHUG Soundwave! . It's amazing that a mold like PRID Ratchet can open so many possiblitys.
I'd go with the flat chest, traditional look, looks a little too Optimus ish, but great idea! Get ready to see everyone else do this now
Im hoping so! WFC Soundwave's chest is sadly not wide enough to properly fill out Ratchet's width. Maybe if you used the Voyager one, though. I'll check it out when those guys hit locally. I know, right? I love this mold simply because the way the chest stores not only allows for multiple possibilities, but it also gives you a pretty big amount of space to do it in. I look forward to seeing what you might come up with. I was going to go with a flat chest originally. Not really sure why, but the angled thing was something I wanted to try for Soundwave. I think it just works with the less-boxy Prime designs. Thanks!
That's great! Can't wait to see it completed. That is really a nice way to take advantage of all the fake chests in the prime figures. RiD Cliffjumper, Magnus have them as well.
To those suggesting a SG Soundwave... While I'm not a huge fan of the whole SG theme, I do think I've thought up a way to actually manage a Classics and a SG Soundwave sort of thing. More on that later.
