    Hi,

So this is my second go at a radicon repaint. I always loved the shape of Rumble and could see fro the moment I got him that there was lots of potential for a repaint. I decided to go for my interpretation for a Gen 1 type of colour scheme (stand back and watch the fireworks start....) and am sort of happy with how he came out. Need to touch up a couple of bits (noticed a patch of blue in his foot after taking the pictures) and then I'll clear him and do the alt mode pics.

    Hope you like...http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/images/icons/icon10.gif

Nice! I'm kinda bummed that they didn't do a Red car from Hasbro.

Just curious, but did you pull apart the front bumper from the leg/hood? I am trying him as my first custom and wasn't sure how I could pull the pin out. Would that require the soldering gun method? Did you find it necessary at all?

Hi, I did think about using a soldering iron on the big pin, but after looking at it I decided it would probably only end in tears and a melted lump of plastic. As it turned out, I didn't need to remove it after all, with the bumper bit in its robot mode position it is pretty much possible to paint all of the surfaces without needing to disassemble.

    Hope this helps ;-)
