Hey everyone, Eradicon C here. I just got my hands on (finally!) an RID Deluxe Vehicon from my local Wal-Mart. I was curious though if I were to get my hands on a First Edition Prime Vehicon, would it be worth part swapping any pieces from either toy into a "masterpiece" Vehicon? Or are they two different scales? I am new to customizing, so I would be curious about that.

Also, do they sell the Micron that the Takara Vehicon comes with separate? I would love to add that to my customizing options.

I also had the idea of possibly getting a Fall of Cybertron Shockwave and using his weapon for this "Masterpiece" Vehicon idea. Think it would be worth it?

    Thanks for your help guys!

Since the FE and PRID are two completely different molds that transform differently as well, I don't think you're going to be able to do this and still get them to transform. If, however, you wanted to at least have a show accurate robot mode...

I'd harvest all the wheels from the FE mold, since they're thicker. Completely remove the front end car kibble hanging off the PRID's knees and glue on a pair of FE wheels. Do the same to the PRID's shoulders and carve away the plastic from inside the wheel well and then attach the other pair of FE wheels just above the PRID's shoulder.

If you wanted to go the extra mile, you could nab a Jet Vehicon and swap arms with a PRID at the ball joint, so he has some actual meat on his arms. But then you'd have to swap the hands back between the two to maintain color cohesion. ...which would involve heating and removing rivets.

If you want the Vehicon's Micron without another Vehicon, there are only two options: the Hellfire varient, which costs 60 bucks at BBTS, or wait until January for the Decepticon Micron weapon five pack, which also comes with Megatron's, Starscream's, Soundwave's, and Airachnid's Micron and is only 25 bucks at the moment.

I wouldn't bother with Shockwave's weapon, doesn't resemble the Vehicon weapon at all.

Thanks for the advice! I think I will wait for that weapon pack, as I really do like the Vehicon Micron.

Yeah I was unsure about that with Shockwave, but thank you for the heads up. Maybe I will get the FOC Shockwave anyway and if they come out with a Prime Shockwave, I can do some weird over the top insane mutant hybrid Shockwave toy! Wuhahaha!

Thanks! I might just look into that then. When I saw the photos of the FE Vehicon, I was rather weirded out by all the back car kibble on that mold. I like the RID Vehicon much better, albeit it's smaller and different. *looks over at my Cybertron Hotshot*...I wish the Vehicon was the size of that toy....*sigh*

You could possibly partswap the non-FE Vehicon and his Takara-exclusive Jet retool. The transformations are the same, but the vehicle shell bits (and the inclusion of wing kibble) are quite different.

Would it be possible to just remove the Kibble from the FE as an easy fix?
