    My problem:
I'm customizing a TRU Transformers Masterpiece Rodimus Prime. I've sanded, primed, light sanded, and painted all the pieces. The paint on the yellow spoiler (the yellow triangular thing on the top rear end of the car) started cracking after I sprayed on the second coat.

    My solution:
I'm going to sand off the cracked paint. Then spray on 1 or 2 new coats. Should I prime the pieces again before I paint them, or not bother with priming?

light prime and light sanding. let the primer fully cure!!!! One of the problems I found with cracking (I recently had to figure out the SAME problem), is you are not letting the paint fully dry and cure. This can take a week or so depending on the paint. Testors seems to take a a few days. This has REALLY slowed down what I am working on, but I think it will be overall worth it.

As we customize, the problem becomes we get impatient! Who likes to wait? I want it done now so I can show it off ;-)
