Before Blackout was killed who was he targeting, Prime or Megatron. I always thought Blackout and Starscream had their own agenda. Might sound crazy but it makes you wonder.

Blackout is the most loyal Decepticon. He'd never target Megatron. To suggest otherwise is just crazy.

That would be like Lugnut going to attack Megatron. Wouldn't happen.

Blackout was the most loyal. He even said "All Hail Megatron!" in the movie. The only one to say that, mind you. He was even originally going to be Soundwave.

    Trust me, it was Prime.

Like I said before, Blackout is still a Con and a Con cannot be trusted. Let's go back to the G1 Series, if Soundwave was so loyal to Megatron why didn't he blast Starscream away when he tossed Megatron from Astrotrain?

Probably because he's loyal, but not stupid. Since Starscream was being crowned leader before Galvatron showed up, he apparently won the battle royale aboard Astrotrain. Soundwave is loyal, but he wouldn't do anything that would put his life in that kind of risk (a lot of Cons agreed to throw out the injured, which included Megatron).

We also have to consider the fact that Soundwave did save Megatron after his battle w/ Prime, as opposed to abandoning him.

As for Blackout, his loyalty, while probably not as extreme as Lugnut's, is similar to that of Soundwave, and him aiming at Megatron seems highly unlikely to me.

Even in the first prequel book, didn't BO and SS get into it because SS wanted to quit searching and crown himself leader?

Soundwave is loyal to the leader, whoever it may be. Megatron no longer had what it took to lead the Decepticons anymore at that point.

Well Starscream definitely has his own agenda, I personally believe he took a shot at Megatron during the fight at Mission City (1st movie) because he was in the middle of the F-22's and if you watch closely i'm sure it was him.

Plus in Transformers Movie Sequel - The Reign Of Starscream, he returns to Cybertron and takes over. He destroys a statue of Megatrons head and says that he never wanted to follow him but to be on the winning side.

There's a bit more info here The Reign of Starscream - Transformers Wiki - Transformers 2, Animated, Toys

But I'd advise reading the comics to anyone who hasn't.

I see your point about decepticons not being trustworthy, you are correct there.

But, you can't just say refer to the series because the story is being re-told now and the G1 stories aren't relevant to the new movie/comics series.

That is why I'm waiting for someone to have a pop at me as a fan lol because I have hardly any knowledge of the original TF stories, I am a fan of the new movie/comic series.
