Just randomly occurred to me that Magnus ends in us, like Optimus, Rodimus. And I was like hot damn! Optimus gave Magnus the matrix because his name ends in us obviously, who knew Hot Rod would become Rodimus? [For those in the back, no I don't think this is legit].

Then comes the question, what is TFP Smokescreen got the matrix? Smoke Prime, Smokimus, Screenimus, Smokescreenimus........

And it BW/BM. Cheetus........

BUT, since I love dinobot, I gave him a primal name too......... DINOBUS PRIME. Ok, hear me out, he gets the matrix, he becomes a triplechanger. Alt mode is a bus, beast mode a dino, and a robot. BAM!

Anyone got any crazy ideas for Primes and Primely names?

I like to imagine Hot Shot could one day become the UT Sentinel Prime, and break the trend of Sentinel Primes being evil.

Alpha Trizer works as Cheetor’s prime name, since that’s the name he takes after replacing Alpha Trion in a BotCon story.

 

After the events of “The rude awakening of Optimus prime” Shit-Piece” (aka Kup) is given the matrix and becomes Shitdamost Prime

@ILoveDinobot i think I just heard the toy engineers crying, when they heard they’d have to fit a bus into that raptor mode of his.  

I was looking at Latin translations for Side and Swipe (for Sideswipe) and I kinda like the sound of Ledo Prime. Ledo being the word for “hit.”
But if I had to pick something that sounded more like his actual name, I guess ... Side Prime? Side-imus? Sidus? Sidus Prime. There we go. Sidus Prime.

I feel like Shrek-Gar would become Swampion Prime.

There are Ogrebots and DeShrekticons who would think little of Farquaad Prime.

On topic, my username Prime Noble was my idea for what Beast Wars Silverbolt would be called if he became Prime. I always felt he would be worthy of it.

I always felt the naming system should be based on an aspect of the Prime's character. That's why I thought my user name Prime Noble would suit the Prime upgrade of Beast Wars Silverbolt.

Though Optimus means 'best' in Latin, it does sound close to optimist and he is a symbol of hope.

Sentinel means 'one who watches' and he did watch the Decepticons rise up and across Cybertron.

Nova is an exploding star. What is an explosion if not an aggressive expansion/release of energy? Nova was all about expanding the Cybertronian Empire aggressively wiping out indigenous life forms of planets he conquered.

 

I like Flashpoint Prime for Blurr.

 

I always liked Ultimus Prime for Ultra Magnus. Really, anything is better than Rodimus.

 

If Grimlock were Prime he'd be Grimus Prime. Or grimlockimus but I think that's way to long
