I don't understand why people are impressed with the engineering when from the sides and bottom it is nothing but exposed robot parts?

Man is that bot mode fantastic and aside from the legs the jet mode ain't half bad either.I don't feel at all wrong when I considered that the Prime toyline might as well be Animated v2; Sleek and poseable figures with loads of personality in each mold, seriously that pose at the end was fantastic. Also this is part of the first wave, I'm genuinely giddy with anticipation wondering how the later figures might end up like.
I suspect that Peaugh is indeed Batman

    This just made my day!

Was thinking about just waiting for the voyager but I think this'd go nicely with DotM Starscream. Love how well they captured the aesthetic of the show, when you compare it to the Classics and DotM it looks almost like you photoshopped the actual show model into the picture.

Definately be picking this up on release day! Heck, I might buy doubles of these first editions to display in box!

Admittedly, you can see the legs from the bottom, but aside from that, I think people are impressed that a tiny jet unfolds to nearly double the size and looks almost like a screen cap from the show.

Being a first try and a deluxe, I'll accept the under jet kibble for that amazing robot mode. I'd rather it not be there, but I like the toy too much to let it get me down. Besides it's just the legs and they don't look that bad imo.

Yup, these first figures are some sort of "preview" line it would seem. There are voyagers in the works.

Thanks for the review. Man, another line that's looking good. They do a pretty good job getting his show model into such a great transformable figure. Being that there is a voyager though, I still might skip this guy.

Part of me wants to wait for the Voyager, but I think I want to go ahead and get it because I likes me some Deluxe Starscreams of various generations. :)

Unless, of course, the Voyager blows it out of the water.

That looks about spot-on. I hope Arcee's as good. I'll be looking for Starscream.

I still want to know how Peaugh gets these things monthes before they're releaced.

But a good review, none the less. Starscream is an instant buy for me, even with the voyager on the way. Can't wait to see the Arcee review.
