Heavy/Scratch: Prime Directive 2.0: Skyfire Prime WIP

    Hey guys. After over a year I have the Prime Directive bug again, and I thought this guy was far enough along to warrant a few pics. For those whoi don't know, my Prime Directive series was a repainting/rebuilding of 13 different Cybertron Leader Class Optimus Prime's into different things. Jets, Animal, Birds...etc.

    This time around I'm doing the same king of work, but nothing repeated. You'll see a hover-bike, a Powermaster and a few other takes on this awesome ROTF figure.

    Skyfire Prime is a different take on Power-Up Prime. Mindwipe will be bashed/repainted into a ROTF Skyfire, with a G1 theme (rocket boosters, etc). Optimus will get a similar themed paint job, kinda like this guy here:

    Started working on his BFG. So far, so good.

    The feet are both stable, started sanding down the excess styrene, it's ready to start getting fleshed out.

    Added a few magnets to Skyfire (Mindwipe) to hold his extra bulk, and am prepping the cables that will run between both of them. Matching swords, chest armor, shoulder armor, head cannons and other mods will be made.

    Wow, nice job, good to see Prime Directive is back again. Can't wait to see how you can pull off Skyfire from Mindwipe.

    You always seem to give your customs some of the most badass looking guns around.

    Using mindwipe is a stroke of genius by the way.

    so glad you're doing a WIP earl. I'm so slow on these sites anymore, I end up missing half of everyone's stuff out there. This looks promising! :)
