I'm confused as Optimus Prime said they haven't seen any Decepticon activity since 3 years, but from where do they pick up? Is it a continuation from another series? Thanks
Prime starts in media res, the middle of the story. It's a common presentation technique. It has no relation to any other series. So wait for season 2. It's apparently going to be flashback heavy.
I don't know how canon it is but IDW did a short mini-series that showed how Arcee and Cliffjumper joined the others on Earth. It seemed like they were gearing up for a fight at the end so I'm guessing the conflict started shortly after that. Again, I don't know if the comic is considered an actual story by the cartoon but it's all we've gotten so far.
I hope so cause i'm curious to know what happened back on Cybertron in TF Prime, like in G1 and any other continuities they show flashbacks and stuff what happened back in Cybertron
So Hasbro says. Glaring, vacuous plot holes between the two suggest otherwise. Treat TF: Prime as its own, wonderful thing to avoid headaches.
he's not saying they are in continuty with the movies, he's saying the 3 years thiing is a Rerefence to the fact that the first movie was made 3 years after prime aired, he's not syaing they are part of the same continuty
