Bulkhead's turn for some much needed paint details! All of the tan coloring has always bugged me, so it's all been replaced with a coat of black followed by silver dry brushing. I also painted his wheels, headlights, and the fake wheels in his feet, plus a little bit of panel lining.

Looks pretty good. But the green looks still "like" plastic. I suggeste to apply either a clear or a flat/mat coat depending on how you want him to look. Either shiny like a factory fresh paintjob or more military like.

yup. I would coat it with future now. The green would look like metal.

Everybody is talking about that FUTURE stuff lately. Could you show me picture of it and tell how you apply it, please?

“Future” aka Pledge floor polish. It’s a big bottle. You just brush it on. Google Future floor polish and a bunch of tutorials pop up for customizers

Thanks! Yeah I think I will. I used Future on Bumblebee the other day and like how he looks. I just haven't decided if I'm done with Bulkhead yet. I think I'll do the lights in his bumper, then clear.

Yeah, what Possessed Digit said. The stuff is great. Goes on real easy, doesn't run because it smooths out on its own. It's not as glossy as a real clear coat but it's decent, and adds a bit of protection.

the “protection” part is what makes it popular for customizers
