I got Skylynx at target for $3.88 and wasn't very impressed with it. I threw it in a box with some other figures. It ended up next to energon Divebomb and I saw that they were pretty much the exact same color scheme. This is the kitbash that I ended up with.

That's very interesting. Was there any cutting etc. or was it all just plugging in ball joints?

It involved superglue and a X-acto Saw.

Pulled the feet off divebomb's legs and then cut off the post that they clipped to. Cut the ball joints off Skylynx's wrist and glued them to the wings. Cut the posts for the disc launchers to attach off of the wings. I cut up part of the leftover forearms and glued them to the leg mid-thigh(? I don't know what to call that part of the chicken leg) to bulk them out from the front view. The wings and the arms were the same size ball joint, so it was just popping off the arm and clipping the wing on. I might glue the hips together to get rid of the gap and I don't like how floppy it is when they are separated. I might also change the face if I can figure out something better that will fit in the dragon mouth.

Nice job! Looks like a nice homage to the G1 combined "Beast mode" Skylinx
