Has anyone had any luck reproducing the EKG for Ratchet's forearms? If so, have you done it in any reproducible way (besides freehand) that you'd like to share? I tried using some scotch tape to set up a stencil, but it didn't come up too well and had some bleed. Anyway, I'd love to hear some ideas. Thanks!

Scotch tape is probably a bad idea. Even their painting tape (the blue stuff) isn't really made for this small of detail. Electrical tape is actually a good choice and there are some tapes from Testors and Tamaya you can get, though I've never used them.

Overall, it's hard to not paint/spray against the edge when dealing with this small a size, which is the main reason for bleed. When I did mine, I had to use the edge of an exacto to scrape and clean the edges to get them sharp and clean. I had to touch them up a number of times to get them the way I wanted and it was still a little sloppy in a couple places.

A way to help prevent bleed is to do a quick first coat of the same (or similar) color on the background. That way the bleed color is closer the background.
