I've acquired an unused, mint Jizaitoys 'nanoscale' Wonderfest Winter 2012 Greatshot resin model kit (not to be confused with any version of Justitoys' WST Sixshot).

I was wondering if anyone has ANY idea of a reasonable selling price for one of these Jizaitoys kits?

Not sure, I seem to remember seeing one for around £150 on ebay a month or two back, it's one I'd like but can't justify at the moment :)

with one available from justitoys for much less (and probably better quality since jizai is resin) I can't see the price of this being any where close to the eBay price u saw any more.

some may still want the jizai one just for the rarity of it. I think u may be able to find a very small number of people to pay at most $100 for it. majority of people though will say its worth $20 or $30 at most.

^That's not really how it works. That's like saying G1 Prime is worthless because Hasbro ended up releasing MP-01 or MP-10 or Classics. They're 2 completely different toys that happen to have a similar scale.

Must admit, I don't think it did sell at that price. There will always be collectors who'll buy it for the rarity value, I know I was tempted...

This one also has the aedvantage of actually having sculpted Greatshot parts. JustItoys version, while very nice (probably my favorite WST toy) is just a repaint of Sixshot with a sticker thrown in for the chest.

that's a bad analogy. G1 Prime keeps its value cuz of mainly nostalgia and its a 25 year old toy. If that applies to this jizai great shot then maybe it will hold value too. I have a resin kit of one of the first 3P Arcee. At the time it carried a value of about $200 (that was the price of some auctions selling it). Now u would be lucky to sell it for $50 since there are better 3P Arcees out there. but like I said this figure may still hold some value due to rarity. but not nearly as much as it did when it was first available.

The Arcee kit you're referring to was a true homemade POS that looked like it was carved in a bar of soap, I've handled one at TFcon. Bad analogy there too. Jizai has a better reputation.

OK seems like ur into these things, how much would u pay for this jizai great shot? $250 that it use to go for or even anything close to that? Am I wrong that this would fetch at most $100? and even then you would have to look long and hard for such a buyer.

I have no interest in that toy, so I'm not the best judge. The original WST Arcee still goes for an insane amount of money. There's a market for that stuff, it's just not on TFW2005.

I have that wst arcee along with springer and goldbug. those still hold value partly because there isn't another wst of the type available. I also have wonderfest magnus armor trailer made by the same guy. I have seen prices drop on that proabaly in part because heerotoymaker has his version.

That was the one I saw before yep. Arcee keeps the value more as there's no alternatives yet, i did pick one up for £50 last year but it seems to go for more normally. $275 was optimistic but I guess he ended up selling outside eBay for a lower offer.

There's a cheap KO of WST Arcee, but I think it's unpainted.

Now Predaking is one I really want but doubt I'll ever get :)  but I have the Arcee in your pics so that's a big relief, thanks.

From what I've learned in regards to Wonderfest Exclusives... As long as it has that Takara Tomy sticker, it's official.

It also helps to know who you bought it from as well... If they are credible, more than likely what you have is legit.

I've always acquired my Wonderfest Exclusives from people I trust.

Unfortunately I don't know anyone who goes there so for Arcee I had to resort to eBay. I collect WST but the only news of those I have are Arcee and Stepper (who I assume will lose value now too... not that I get them for the value luckily!)

Thanks for the input everyone... If and when I sell it, I'll let you guys know in this topic: I might just already have found a buyer.

BTW: I believe nano-scale JizaiToys Greatshot is in fact in a much smaller scale than Justitoys Sixshot, or the Greatshot repaint. Also, as Curamen mentions, it is an unassembled kit, and yes, the package does have an official Takara Tomy sticker.
