I really don't want to sell these, but I really need to get rid of some more stuff. I checked eBay and didn't see any auctions for the boxset that actually sold. Anyone have an idea what they're worth? I'm thinking not much since the BBTS reissue is readily available.

 

Hmm, that's a good question. What was the cost on the set? Wasn't it like $300 or something? The main selling point would be getting the items in a cool G1 style box, with the packaging insert to hold all 6 toys. I remember after it came out the set was going for a lot on ebay, maybe like 400-500? I agree that nowadays it would probably be worth considerably less with the release of the BBTS Seacons set. I think it would be pretty solid if you could get $300.

 

Thanks for the reply. I think it was around $120 when initially released (not including club membership price). Most of the unsold ones I saw on eBay were around $280, but I didn't know if I should expect to take a loss if I sell.

 

I received mine from BBTS in the range of $150-180 w/S&H. That was during the fall of 2008, when it came out.
