Anyone? Or does anyone know of a good website to gauge pricing on the more oddball stuff?

Even at the risk of being mocked as being a pedantic ass again: The company is named "GiG", not "GiGi" (a common misconception).

And I don't think there are KOs of Italian G1 toys, as toys in foreign-market packaging are usually too obscure for knockoff companies.

For the most part, any foreign TF toy that doesn't have something different (like a different paint app) is usually going to be priced similar to the US counterpart. The portion of the community that collects foreign versions are very small in comparison.

However, the thing I would want to know is whether or not the box is in Transformers packaging or the Diaclone type "Trasformer" packaging.

Yup, this is the most important part of the question the 'trasformers' are worth more than the 'tranSformers'.

    It says
    Trans
    Formers
How hard would it be to unload? I might buy it in a lot and resell to help with the cost of the ones i really want

I don't think you'd actually make as much on it as a US Transformers Grapple.

Am I right in saying the character is called "Gancio" ?

It has never been KO'd in that packaging, and Transformers G1 Grapple generally doesn't fetch a great deal as it's not too rare and has of course been reissued.

Obviously if it's totally pristine with no box flap crease, bubble insert which has retained all of its integrity and unused weapons and stickers (although it probably comes with orange safety missiles not proper chromed missiles), it'll do a bit better. I don't think you ought to be expecting too much more than $80 in my recent experience.

    All the best
