So I've been thinking about picking up a Diaclone Devastator from a friend. It's been played with but still looks pretty good. It has all the pieces to form Devastator but no individual weapons or anything. What do you think it's worth?

 

Are you certain it's a Diaclone and not a KO?

There are KO Devastators of every size and color.

IMO, the bootlegs have an equal coolness factor and I hear they are relatively valuable too.

 

Well if it is a bootleg then it's probably the vintage bootleg that's in macabremouse's post. He's got quite a few things from around that time.

In fact I got a green blitzwing from him that I'm still trying to determine if it's a bootleg or not. It doesn't have the Takara stamp on the wing but everything else points to it being legit.


Anyway, he's looking for about $50-$60ish on the Devastator. Does that sound high?

 

I read in another thread recently a way to spot one of the KO Blitzwings, does it have the plane mode launchers? KO has the missile hole filled in. Credit for this goes to Hitch for pointing it out in the other thread.
