how about like NEST has a new recruit and the plot revolves around him. Like his parents were killed by decepticons in chicago or something giving him motivation.

You seriously want a plot that focuses entirely on a human and his life/past? :sly:

trust me i agree but you know for a fact they arent going to make a transformers movie without a lead human role. He could just replace sam as the main character.

No. DOTM was the first movie to focus as much on the 'bots as the humans. Introducing a new character involves a new back story and such, resulting in less time for robots. So no.

does anyone try to understand what im saying? THEY CANT MAKE A FULL MOVIE ABOUT THE ROBOTS, it would be too bloody expensive. They have to some human be a support lead guy. We have had sam in the past few movies. He could replace him.

No, they do NOT need a human support role. The only reason humans usually exist in TF stories is to provide perspective from their view. Now, having human liasons such as NEST and guys like Lennox and Epps (who are arguably THE best humans in the whole movie, Simmons comes in third in my book) are okay for support roles, but a movie can stand on its own without needing a major human lead role. As stated, DOTM is a good example of this, as many great scenes did NOT involve LaBeouf at all, rather just mostly robots and human extras if needed (I.E. everything involving Sentinel and Optimus interacting). Heck, Sam really didn't actually DO anything critical to the plot outside of beat the crap out of Dylan for stealing his ultra-hot girlfriend and kill Laserbeak when he was conveniently on a Decepticon gunship. All the major story elements were focused on the Transformers, like it should be.

this is i what i meant. Yes. I didnt mean to create a mega argument, i was just thinking like if there had to a support human role it could be a new NEST guy. The story still would be revolved around the transformers.

Your original post quite clearly states otherwise:
When you say "the plot revolves around him", you are essentially stating "this guy is a main character". If a character has ANY major connection to the heart of the plot, then he/she is a main character, NO EXCEPTIONS.

What I was saying was that we don't need humans who have any actual connection to the plot. They're simply in the movie because they need to be there for other reasons (I.E. their job of blowing up Decepticons, they have no connection to "insert lost Cybertronian artifact of the day here"). Most of the focus should be on the actual robots.

THIS. And you're right about many great scenes not involving, or atleast not needing, Sam. Look at the highway chase for example. We didn't need Sam at all. The main reason of the highway chase was Sentinel Prime, as he was the one the Dreads were after. Sam was only there to scream like a girl and be there for Bumblebee to catch. Another example was the Mexican standoff. It was great scene, and not a single human was involved.

If the story is to focus onn a human I still say Sari Sumdac would be the best choice. Since she's technically a robot no one can say the story focuses on humans.
I agree there should be less humans and more robot characterization. As cool as the moies were, all the robots were basically plot devices used to get some fight sequences.
