Went to a yard sale across the street and got this shelf for $80. In very nice condition, buffed it out, dusted it and it's ready to support 500 pounds of plastic for the next year or two.

That reminds me, I need to retire either the Animated or Universe/Classics from my shelves to make room. I really do not want to retire either!

That looks almost exactly like my previous PokeDoll shelf but now current Animated/Universe 2.0 shelf!

A couple weeks ago, I bought a brand new shelf (way larger) for my PokeDolls. So I finally gave my Animated and Universe stuff a home besides three shoeboxes.

I actually am going to buy another three bookshelves this week or next for a bunch of other stuff as well. Preparation for Universe 3.0 and this summer, Classics and Universe 1.0 as well as ROTF Sideways, Swerve and Sideswipe!

$80?! I think you overpaid. I got my 3 shelves at Ikea for $90 each, which is more than you paid, but they are 7 feet tall. I just bought one of them last night and it's still unassembled in the box, but my first 2 manage to store my entire collection between the two of them. My TFTM figs only take up 4 shelfs on one of them.

IKEA | Bookcases | BILLY bookcase system | BILLY | Bookcase

The one you picked up must be made of real wood or something. Is it ridiculously heavy? Oak maybe?

    >_< It's a shelf. You were able to make that joke out of a line about a shelf? Really?

    Oy.

As for the shelf itself. That's a hell of a great deal. Looks really nice, especially for the price. Nice catch!

....I know, I know. That's what she said.

Very ironic that this topic is here.

I just moved my Animated toys to an opposite shelf, and my Universe stuff to the higher shelf. I now have a huge space for the many figures I will buy.

It's made out of Oak. And yes it is EXTREMELY HEAVY! My neighbor, my dad my brother and me had to carry it into my house. We dropped it like 3 times, not even a scratch! Well, a few but nothing broken. It's as durable as they come. My neighbors are moving later this week and they were selling a bunch of stuff to lower the moving cost or something like that.

Aw Goddammit.... I don't know where I'm gonna put my RotF figures... thanks for reminding me >_< xD

I don't have a lot of shelf room... I've got one little setup that fits all the Animated figures perfectly, and another shelf that fits all my movie 1 figures perfectly, but RotF is gonna have so many! Oh boy... lol

Not really each shelf is around two feet in length a a foot in height. Bottom shelf is 14 inches tall.
