So, just got home and am currently installing the game to my Xbox One, and also redeemed my Weathered Warrior Pack Code, and funnily enough the release date for this pack (as it says on the Xbox One Store) is the 22nd of July. So just a question to those of you who got Stinger (he was a preorder bonus, wasn't he?), does this say the same thing for you too?

 

Not sure how to tell if they are unlocked in the PC version, haven't gotten a code, but Thundercracker and Skywarp are unlocked in the create mode I believe that is what it is, where all the characters are locked, or have locked symbol. Like Megs and OP are unlocked, so are Thundercracker and Skywarp, all others are locked.

 

Stinger isn't a pre-order bonus. Just a 'buy it at walmart' bonus. Didn't see anything about a release date when I redeemed the code.

 

I hope you're right as id rather have a new cool transformer than thundercracker and skywarp who were in the last game and are starscream reskins.

 

That's good to know. I really want to get stinger and who knows maybe we'll get new characters. (Although I doubt it)

 

Yeah why not the wfc fembots and dotm characters. Maybe even more aoe characters

 

If it's helps any, I'm playing on the PC off of Steam, and to my surprise, Stinger, Thundercracker, and Skywarp are all available for me to unlock. And, I did not go through Walmart whatsoever, nor did I pre-order off of Steam to get Thundecracker and Skywarp. The Electro Bolter and the Glass Gas Cannon, pre-roder exclusives, are also in my possession.

 

This might be slightly off topic, but does stinger have his shifting transformation or does he just transform normally like every other car bot?
I got Skywarp and Thundercracker, mainly because I really wanted the two guns, but if stinger has that transformation I'd like to get him if he becomes dlc.

 

Just like a normal car bot, not how he transforms in the movie (trailer).

 

That is quite strange. Did you pre order through steam? Even though that still doesn't make sense that you have stinger....

 

I remember seeing a while back that Steam was offering the Weathered Warriors pack as a pre-order bonus. Quite how they managed to wangle getting it in addition to Gamestop, I don't know.

 

If the game requires the steam client to play, I'm guessing that the DLCs have to be on Steam to work properly.

 

No, I did not pre-order via Steam. I just bought the game yesterday. While I have Stinger, two of my Steam friends do not have him.

UPDATE: It appears that more Steam users have him in-game as a playable character than not.

Well, as expected. Here's hoping there are other characters in upcoming dlc...I won't keep my hopes up though

 

at least he is a different car and not just a red bumblebee. His botmode is a red bee however.

 

Well he is in the movie from what I can tell so thats alright. Glad they weren't so lazy they just painted the vehicle mode of bumblebee red and just keep the normal bee head in robot mode.

 

I'm hope so to but am prepaired to be let down. I hope at least the dotm character skins come out for all the characters from that game if no other new characters from AOE come out
